What a Homespun app is
Someone described what they needed to an AI assistant, and it built and deployed a working app rather than a document or a spreadsheet. The person using it signs in with their own email, so the app knows who they are: their entries are recorded as theirs, and what each person may read, add or delete is set per app.
What each app gets
- Its own web address, at
<name>.homespunapps.com. - Sign in for the people its owner invites, with their own email.
- A database, so what people enter is still there when they return.
You can see what other people have built in the Homespun template gallery.
Why this domain exists
This domain hosts apps built by people who use Homespun. Each app is served from its own subdomain, <name>.homespunapps.com. Nothing is served from this address itself.
So a link to <name>.homespunapps.com is a real application, run by the person who made it, not a file shared out of somebody's account.
Apps are published by their creators. Homespun does not endorse the content of individual apps.
